Calls, Controls and All-Day Listening

Bose revisits its sport-focused open-ear earbuds with a redesigned model that wraps gently around the outer ear, leaving the ear canal unobstructed. The flexible cuff uses a silicone-covered structure to maintain a secure fit without traditional ear tips, allowing users to listen to music while remaining aware of their surroundings.

The compact design weighs approximately 6 g (0.21 oz) per earbud and is available in Black, White Smoke and limited-edition Eucalyptus Green. Textured physical buttons provide direct access to playback and other controls, while the accompanying charging case offers convenient storage between workouts.

Music Without Blocking the World Around You

Bose OpenAudio technology directs sound toward the ear without requiring an earbud to sit inside the ear canal. Custom dynamic drivers produce music, podcasts and other audio while allowing environmental sounds, including traffic and nearby conversations, to remain audible.

The earbuds also feature Auto Volume, which adjusts playback levels in response to changes in surrounding noise. Users can customize bass, midrange and treble through the Bose app, tailoring the sound to different listening preferences. The open-ear design provides a different acoustic experience from conventional sealed earbuds, particularly in noisy environments.

Designed to Stay in Place

The Sport Open Earbuds use flexible C-shaped cuffs that wrap around the outer ear, holding each earbud in position during movement. Their lightweight construction and soft silicone surfaces are intended to provide stability during running, walking, cycling and gym workouts without placing pressure inside the ear canal.

An IP54 rating provides protection against dust and splashing water, including sweat and light rain encountered during exercise. The open design also allows natural airflow around the ear, making the earbuds suitable for longer listening sessions and active routines.

Smart Features for an Active Lifestyle

Bluetooth 5.4 provides wireless connectivity, with multipoint support allowing the earbuds to maintain connections to two devices simultaneously. The Bose app offers sound adjustments and customizable controls, while SpeechClarity technology uses microphone processing to help distinguish the user’s voice from surrounding noise during calls.

Battery life reaches up to seven hours per charge, with the portable case extending total listening time to approximately 29 hours. A 10-minute quick charge provides up to 1.8 hours of playback, while the case supports USB-C and wireless charging for convenient power management.
