Limited Edition Air75 V3

The NuPhy Air75 V3 Moonbow Edition is a limited-edition version of the company’s popular low-profile mechanical keyboard.

Priced at $149.95 USD and restricted to 2,000 units, the Moonbow retains the standard Air75 V3’s compact 75% layout, wireless connectivity and customizable mechanical switches.

The special edition takes its name from the rare atmospheric phenomenon of a rainbow created by moonlight. NuPhy translates that inspiration into translucent materials, soft illumination and coordinated white components.

The Moonbow’s Translucent Design

The Moonbow Edition’s defining feature is its frosted polycarbonate keycaps, which diffuse RGB lighting across their translucent surfaces. Larger white legends complement the pale finish, while specially coordinated stabilizers, switch housings and internal components maintain the keyboard’s uniform appearance. The aluminum top case and compact proportions preserve the recognizable Air75 design.

Instead of emphasizing brightly illuminated lettering, the Moonbow creates a softer lighting effect across the keyboard. Its white surfaces and translucent materials give the RGB illumination a different appearance depending on the selected colors and lighting patterns.

Silent Switches and a Softer Typing Feel

The Moonbow Edition features exclusive Blush Nano Glint switches, a silent linear design for smooth keystrokes with less mechanical noise. Their white housings contain glitter accents that complement the keyboard’s translucent appearance. The switches are hot-swappable, allowing users to replace them without soldering.

A gasket-mounted structure and polycarbonate plate help soften the typing feel, while the low-profile keycaps keep the keyboard relatively slim. Three adjustable typing angles provide flexibility for different desk setups, and the 75% layout retains dedicated arrow keys and a function row.

Customization, Controls and Battery Life

The Air75 V3 supports Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4 GHz wireless and USB-C wired connections, making it suitable for desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices. A 1,000 Hz polling rate over wired and 2.4 GHz connections supports responsive input, and compatibility with macOS and Windows accommodates different workstation setups.

NuPhyIO software allows users to customize key assignments, lighting effects and other keyboard functions. A multifunction knob provides convenient access to frequently used controls, while the 4,000 mAh rechargeable battery offers up to 1,200 hours of operation with lighting disabled.
