New Era for iPhone

Apple enters the foldable smartphone market with the iPhone Duo, introducing a new form factor to its flagship lineup. Featuring dual OLED displays, a titanium design, and the A20 Pro processor, the device combines the familiar iPhone experience with an expansive folding screen.

Endless Possibilities

The iPhone Duo introduces several significant changes to Apple’s smartphone lineup, including its largest iPhone display, new multitasking capabilities, and a redesigned internal architecture. Four features define the experience.

Dual Super Retina XDR Displays
The 7.6-inch (19.3 cm) folding OLED display provides an expansive workspace for entertainment, productivity, and gaming. A 5.4-inch (13.7 cm) outer display handles everyday tasks when closed. Both feature ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz and peak outdoor brightness of 3,000 nits.

Multitasking With iOS 27
A redesigned iOS 27 interface takes advantage of the folding display with Split View, allowing two applications to operate side by side. Users can open multiple windows of supported apps, save frequently used app combinations, and move between tasks with greater flexibility.

A20 Pro Performance
Apple’s A20 Pro processor features a six-core CPU, seven-core GPU, and Dual 16-core Neural Engine. Built using a 2-nanometer process, the chip works alongside a custom vapor chamber cooling system to support demanding applications, graphics-intensive gaming, and on-device artificial intelligence.

Titanium Design and Precision Hinge
Constructed from grade 5 titanium, the iPhone Duo features a precision-engineered hinge designed for smooth folding and structural stability. The inner display incorporates a nano-texture finish to reduce glare and crease visibility, while Ceramic Shield protection and IP68 resistance contribute to durability.

Cameras That Makes the Most of Two Screens

The iPhone Duo features a dual 48MP rear camera system and dedicated front-facing cameras for its inner and outer displays. Its folding design also introduces new photography options, including hands-free shooting, dual-screen previews, and enhanced selfie capabilities.

48MP Fusion Main Camera
The primary camera features a 48MP sensor with an ƒ/1.6 aperture, sensor-shift optical image stabilization, and advanced computational photography. It captures detailed images in varied lighting conditions and provides optical-quality 2x telephoto framing through its high-resolution sensor.

48MP Fusion Ultra Wide Camera
The 48MP Ultra Wide camera features an ƒ/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view, making it suitable for landscapes, architecture, and group photography. Macro photography support also enables detailed close-up images of small subjects and intricate textures.

12MP Center Stage Front Camera
Located on the outer display, the 12MP Center Stage camera supports selfies, video calls, and automatic framing. Its intelligent orientation handling allows users to capture landscape selfies without physically rotating the phone, providing additional flexibility for photography and video.

Under-Display FaceTime Camera
An integrated camera beneath the inner folding display supports video calls while preserving an uninterrupted viewing surface. Users can position the partially folded phone on a flat surface for hands-free FaceTime conversations and other video communication.

Additional Photography Features
The folding design enables Duo Preview, which displays a live camera feed on the outer screen so subjects can see themselves before a photo is taken. Smart Take automatically captures images when subjects are posing, while 4K Dolby Vision recording at up to 120fps provides advanced video capabilities.

Beyond its headline features, the device includes Apple Intelligence, the new Siri AI experience, Touch ID integrated into the side button, and support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. Battery life reaches up to 44 hours of video playback using the outer display, with fast charging capable of reaching 50% in approximately 20 minutes.

Available in Night Sky and Star White, the iPhone Duo offers storage configurations ranging from 256GB to 2TB. Apple Pencil support is also planned for later in 2026, expanding its potential for note-taking, sketching, and document editing.
