Battery life benefits directly from that smart lighting control. Logitech rates the built-in Li-Po cell for about 10 days of typical use with backlighting enabled, or up to five months with the lights off. MX Keys s charge via USB-C, so you can top it up from the same cable you’d use for a modern phone or laptop accessory.

The low-profile, spherically dished keys are shaped to fit the fingertips, giving each stroke a more consistent landing zone and reducing noise. It also stands out for its ability to handle multiple devices at once. You can pair up to three computers, tablets, or phones and switch between them instantly with the dedicated Easy-Switch buttons. Combined with the Logi Options+ software, this multi-device workflow extends furthe. You can assign smart actions, remap function keys, and customize backlight behavior to match your habits. It essentially turns the keyboard into a configurable hub for your daily tasks.

The hardware itself reflects Logitech’s push toward sustainability and premium materials. The keyboard uses an aluminum top plate manufactured with low-carbon processes and a high percentage of post-consumer recycled plastic in its body. The function row has been tweaked compared with the previous model, introducing more useful shortcut keys, and the whole unit weighs just over 800 g for a stable yet portable build.
