This generation comes in two case sizes, 41 mm and 45 mm, to better fit a range of wrists. The new Health Status tool gives you a daily snapshot of your overall readiness, while improved sleep tracking now includes alignment and consistency metrics alongside Lifestyle Logging for things like caffeine or alcohol intake. It’s designed to give you a clearer picture of how habits affect recovery and performance rather than just raw data.

Under the hood, Garmin has moved the Venu 4 onto the same operating system that powers its higher-end watches like the Fenix and Forerunner series. This unified firmware means you get quicker updates, more consistent features across models, and a more polished interface than previous Venu versions.

For GPS, the watch now offers multi-band tracking for higher accuracy on runs, rides, or hikes in challenging environments such as cities or dense forests. Combined with Garmin’s activity profiles, it makes the Venu 4 a stronger choice for outdoor workouts than many lifestyle-oriented smartwatches.

Battery life is still a standout. Garmin rates the Venu 4 for up to 12 days in smartwatch mode, around four days with the always-on display enabled, and up to 20 hours of GPS tracking… plenty for daily use and even multi-day events without needing a charge.
