Logitech’s Mevo Core marks a major step up from its earlier streaming cameras. Moved away from small fixed-lens devices into the world of interchangeable-lens, pro-grade hardware.

The cam is built for creators who want broadcast-quality video and flexible setup options without needing a full studio rig.

Its compact cube-style body is one of its biggest appeals. At roughly 700 grams, it’s small enough to fit into tight spaces but solid enough to stay put on a tripod. Each side (and the bottom) has a ¼-20 mount, giving you multiple places to attach arms, stands, or accessories.

One of the defining changes with the Mevo Core is its Micro Four Thirds lens mount.

Unlike previous Mevo cameras with fixed lenses, this model lets you choose from a wide range of MFT lenses for different looks, focal lengths, or low-light performance. It ships without a lens, so you can pick the glass that matches your shooting style, whether that’s a wide-angle for events or a fast prime for a shallow-depth interview.

Battery life is another area where the Core stands out. Logitech rates it for up to six hours of 4K recording or 1080p streaming on a single charge. That’s enough for most live shows, concerts, or long-form podcasts without needing to plug in, and it can also run from USB-C power for continuous operation.

Connectivity is built with professionals in mind. It supports Wi-Fi 6E for high-bandwidth wireless streaming, has HDMI out for direct video feeds, and a USB-C port for tethered connections. You can stream via RTMP, SRT, or NDI depending on your setup, making it flexible for everything from YouTube to multi-camera production software.

Audio is handled by an integrated three-microphone array designed for ambient pickup, but the Core also gives you external mic options for higher-quality sound. This makes it practical for both quick setups and more polished productions where you want to run in your own audio chain.
