Skincare Inspired by Personal Experience

Founded in South Korea in 2021, Biodance is a skincare brand created by Mihwa Kim, a former television shopping host who spent years presenting and evaluating beauty products. Her experience exposed her to thousands of formulations and helped develop an understanding of consumer expectations and product quality.

A personal accident later changed Kim’s perspective on skincare, inspiring a greater interest in skin recovery. She established Biodance around the principle that healthy skin requires carefully formulated products and the right conditions for ingredients to work effectively.

The brand operates under Seoul-based Beautyselection Co., Ltd., with a philosophy that combines scientific research, practical skincare routines, and accessible pricing.

Viral Revolution in Hydrogel Skincare

Biodance gained international recognition through its Bio-Collagen Real Deep Mask, a hydrogel treatment that became a viral sensation across TikTok and other social media platforms. Its distinctive formula begins as an opaque, essence-rich mask and gradually becomes transparent during extended wear, creating a visually recognizable skincare experience.

The mask uses ultra-low molecular weight collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, and fermented ingredients to support hydration, skin elasticity, and a smoother complexion. Its flexible hydrogel structure adheres closely to facial contours and can be worn for several hours or overnight.

According to Biodance, the brand has sold more than 300 million hydrogel masks across over 90 countries, establishing its signature product as one of the most recognizable innovations in contemporary Korean skincare.
